Corporate Real Estate Advisor

Anne Columbia's 25 years of experience spans the spectrum of tenant advisory services, from strategic planning, market research, financial analysis, transactions management, deal structuring and contract negotiations. Anne has been responsible for closing hundreds of leasing or sales transactions ranging in size from 2,000 to over half a million square feet. In 2006, in recognition of her skills advising and structuring one of the most complex real estate transactions in greater Boston on behalf of a lab user, the Greater Boston Real Estate Board acknowledged her with the Life Science Deal of the Year Award.

Anne knows that successful leadership in any business community also requires civic engagement and community involvement. She is a trustee and member of the executive committee at the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park and on the advisory council to the Head of School at Milton Academy, where she has served as chair of the Parents Annual Fund.  She has served on the MIT Campus Development Advisory Committee that advises the MIT president's office on real estate-related issues in Kendall Square. An advocate for women's health, Anne is a member of the Visiting Committee at the Dana Farber's Susan Smith Women's Cancers Center, and is a board member for Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts.

Anne earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an M.A.L.D from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a B.A. from Smith College. 

Prior to founding The Columbia Group, Anne worked at AEW Capital Management, Tishman Speyer Properties in New York, and Centros Properties, Boston, in various marketing, leasing and financial analyst roles.

In her spare time, Anne enjoys hiking and skiing with her family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
